The Animal Product Safety Management System implemented in this facility represents a comprehensive and integrated framework, meticulously designed to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in the manufacturing of veterinary supplements and animal feed additives — from the moment raw materials are received at the gate to the final delivery of finished products to the customer. This system is built upon three internationally recognized standards that together form a robust foundation for product safety management: First: ISO 22000:2018 – Food Safety Management Systems This standard serves as the backbone of our system. It specifies the requirements for any organization in the feed and food chain to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards and ensure that products are safe at the point of consumption. The standard is anchored on the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), the PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act), and risk-based thinking across all organizational levels. Second: ISO/TS 22002-6:2016 – Prerequisite Programmes for Feed and Animal Food Production This technical specification complements ISO 22000 by defining the Prerequisite Programmes (PRPs) specific to feed and animal food production. It covers every operational dimension: facility design, material procurement, pest control, maintenance, personal hygiene, waste management, allergen control, and prevention of cross-contamination — ensuring that the manufacturing environment itself supports safe production. Third: ISO 22001-6:2026 – FSMS for Feed and Animal Food This newly-released standard represents the latest evolution in the field. It provides an expanded, specialized framework for Feed Safety Management Systems, offering deeper integration with ISO 22000 requirements and reflecting the most current industry best practices and regulatory expectations. The combined implementation of these three standards achieves three strategic objectives:
✅ Safeguarding animal health by ensuring that every supplement administered is safe, pure, and effective ✅ Protecting the human food chain, since animal safety directly translates into the safety of meat, dairy, and eggs consumed by humans ✅ Building trust and demonstrating compliance with both local regulatory authorities (SFDA) and international standards
This system embraces every operation within the facility as part of a unified whole: from procurement and receiving, through storage and manufacturing, to quality control and laboratory analysis, to packaging, labeling, and distribution — extending even to returns management and product recall procedures when necessary. Every process is documented, every decision is traceable, and every data point is verifiable. At its core, this system aims to cultivate an organizational culture in which product safety takes precedence over all else — becoming an inseparable part of the factory's identity, and a solid foundation for the trust of customers, regulatory authorities, and the ultimate consumer alike.
